This Cookie Policy explains how Zoom Photo Studio uses cookies and similar technologies on www.zoomphotostudio.co.uk. It should be read with our Privacy Statement.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, telephone or other device when you visit a website. They can be used to keep a service secure, remember choices, provide requested features and measure how a website is used.
Similar technologies, including browser session storage, pixels and tags, may perform related functions. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies where appropriate.
2. How we obtain consent
Strictly necessary cookies are used because the website cannot provide its core functions securely without them. They do not require consent.
Analytics and marketing technologies are optional. They are not loaded by our consent system unless you actively allow the relevant category. You can accept all optional cookies, reject them, or choose categories separately.

4. Google Analytics
If analytics cookies are enabled in the website settings and you consent, Google Analytics helps us understand matters such as which pages are visited, how visitors reached the site, general device information and whether important website actions were completed.
Google Analytics may set cookies including:
- _ga — distinguishes one browser from another; normally retained for up to two years.
- _ga_<measurement-id> — maintains session information for the relevant Analytics property; normally retained for up to two years.
We configure page tracking so that query-string values are not deliberately included in the page address sent by our own tracking code. Google acts as a service provider and may process technical information in accordance with its own privacy terms.
5. Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used to manage approved website tags. Tag Manager does not itself create visitor profiles, but tags deployed through it may use cookies or send data to another provider.
Our website loads the Tag Manager container only after the visitor has allowed an applicable optional category. The contents of the container must be reviewed whenever a tag is added or changed, and this policy must be updated if the technologies in use change.
6. Meta Pixel and marketing technologies
If Meta Pixel is enabled and you consent to marketing cookies, Meta may receive information about visits and interactions so that we can measure advertising and create or improve advertising audiences. Meta technologies may use cookies such as _fbp, commonly retained for around 90 days, and may associate activity with a Meta account in accordance with Meta’s own terms.
Meta Pixel is not loaded on sensitive booking-details, payment or booking-confirmation pages by our website tracking system.
7. Payment-provider cookies
Payment pages use PayPal-hosted payment components. PayPal may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to authenticate users, prevent fraud, maintain security and process the payment you request. The names and duration of these cookies are controlled by PayPal and may vary according to the payment method, device and PayPal account status.
We do not use PayPal’s payment cookies for our own advertising.
8. Google Maps and Google Fonts
Some pages display a Google Maps frame or link to Google Maps. When an embedded map loads, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies according to your Google settings and Google’s terms.
The website also retrieves typefaces from Google Fonts. This normally involves a request to Google containing technical connection information. Google Fonts is used to present the website consistently and is not used by us to identify you.
9. Browser session storage
We may use session storage to prevent the same analytics event being sent twice during a single browser session. This information remains in your browser and is normally deleted when the tab or browser session ends.
10. Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” control in the website footer. Withdrawing consent prevents future optional tracking. It may be necessary to refresh the page, and cookies already stored may remain until they expire or are removed through your browser settings.
You can also block or delete cookies using your browser controls. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent booking, login, gallery or payment features from working correctly.
11. Updates to this policy
We will update this policy when our use of cookies or third-party services changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
